Artown and Whitney Peak Hotel Present: Heritage Sessions

Last week we posted a blog about the inaugural Artown Heritage dinner with pintxos from chef Ben Deinken and live music by Paper Bird.  I had never been inside the Heritage restaurant, nor had I been aware of what they served.  I must say, I was pleasantly surprised!  After enjoying a Cava at the bar while waiting for a table, I enjoyed bites from a selection of pintxos and some starters from the menu.

While other restaurants in Reno are known for serving up traditional Basque-American cuisine, these pintxos, from what I have experienced, seemed to emulate those that one might find in Donostia-San Sebastian.  So, check out these delicious Basque delights and come enjoy the rest of the series!

The series is designed to highlight up-and-coming indie acoustic music performers, while celebrating innovative culinary arts. The inaugural Heritage Sessions event, which the hotel will host monthly in its Heritage restaurant, pairs a special Chef’s menu created by new Executive Chef Ben Deinken with live, acoustic music.
